Who am I?

Ed Heltzel. Just your average run-of-the-mill kinda guy.

Professional I consider myself a generalist designer turned ML researcher and engineer, obsessing over agent and human UX. Most days are spent training clankers and shaping how people and agents meet.

This season the work is split between two companies and the mat. I am a co-founder of Alianza Sócios de Salud and a co-founder of Gentle Art Technologies, where I am building MyChron™. I am a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with more than 10 years of training, and I am still training.

The kit I actually use is on /uses: macOS, Kitty, Herdr, Neovim, Oh My Pi, a Dygma Defy, and JS/TS, Go, and PHP. Maker work is 3D modeling, 3D printing, and woodworking. What I am doing right now is on /now. Writing is on /log/.
